Each FPGA has two channels of processing. Each channel has a 40 MS/sec AD converter. The FPGA demodulates to a 10 MHz baseband, does a 200 tap matched filter, and configurable multipulse doppler processing.
With a reported equivalent gate count of 4.8 million gates and the 160 Mhz process clock, these parts needed extra cooling.
